Wow, I really suck at pinball.
But it's more fun to take pictures of the pinball machines than to actually play them.I'd watch Tommy right now but I'm too tired. And my wrists hurt.

I am watching Tommy right now and I think it is better if you just skip it... it is waaaay more off the wall than I remember it (although seeing all the people in it is awesome! Tina Turner, Elton John, Jack Nicholson, etc.)

Loved the Who video... I'm going to have to get some actual speakers for my MacPro because I really can't get much volume out of the internal dime-store speaker -- that song is best blasted loud enough to bother the neighbors...
And it looks like you were over in my territory yesterday -- I was in yours... I took in the Bluegrass Festival for a few hours... Had a ball. See my blog.
And I may just stop by the Civic Center today for the pinball machines. I just got back from a fine walk-around Northbeach and Chinatown...
Hey, do you know how The Who got their name? This may or may not be true, but I remember one of them saying that someone once asked what the name of their band was -- they told them the name they were using at the time, but the person didn't hear them clearly so the person said "the who?" --and everything else is history...
What is it about pinball that makes you want to drink cheap beer, eat cold pizza and listen to really, really loud music? (Or is it just me?)
