It was a candy-colored day.

Today looked like something from a Paint-By-Numbers book.

Or a bowl of Skittles.

Or a box of Popsicles.

Or a handful of sidewalk chalk.

You get the idea.

I had a great time today combing the urban landscape with Plug 1 and Plug 2. They'll be making a guest appearance soon on i live here: SF, so keep an eye out.

And watch out for the land sharks. This one's busy eating a VW van, but I have a feeling that SF is full of these menaces.

O.K., now this is going to be interesting... You went shooting with the Plugs?   They are so shy about showing their faces on their blog -- usually all I see is a pasted-in "Happy Face" on Plug1...

But you know, I did run into the Plugs one day, and didn't even realize it was them... They were taking in a Walking Tour of San Francisco that day up by the Armenian Cross on Mount Davidson -- I wasn't on the tour but was just there, the first time I had been up there...

So, the next day when Plug1 saw my header-photo of the Armencian Cross he asked me if I had been on the Walking Tour, which I hadn't, but I then remembered a fellow I said hello to up at the cross -- he was walking away from the cross after having taken some photos, as I was walking towards it to do the same thing... So yes, I HAVE met at least one of the Plugs, briefly and anonymously.

Looking forward to seeing your post... Plug1 has suggested that we get together for a photo shoot some day, but of course I am a dedicated hermit and much too shy to do that sort of thing, but I bet he could get me to some interesting places in the City... I keep trying to ask Plug1 when they're going to make us some babies, but not a word... I always enjoy their blog... Plug1 is developing into quite the photographer, as you know!

And did you use your "plain and simple" camera to take those very nice photos? Your Honor, I rest my case.

I've been back to this particular post four times now. I still don't have anything to say that is equal to these marvelous images. Oh, my. You do have a gift, my friend.
