Little Helen, 1918-2009
I won't be around tangobabyland for a while as I'll be down in San Jose helping my parents with whatever it is they need help with now. I just wanted to let you know so you wouldn't worry, because I know you're the sorts of people that would worry.What can you say? I'm always terrible with these sorts of things so I sure as hell don't know what to say either. I know you're all sending good thoughts my way and I thank you for that, even if I'm not in a place physically or mentally to reply to you right now.
So, for me... go out and hug someone you love and celebrate something, anything-- and yeah, live. I'll catch you later.

So sorry. My condolences to you and your family. My own grandmother, (whom I am named after) was also Helen and lived a very long life. It is hard when these grand people go. Mine has been gone a long time and I miss her dearly. You will miss Little Helen, but you will hold her memory in your heart forever. Sending you a hug. Thank you for letting us know.

I'm so sorry. I lost my own Little Helen almost a year before you lost yours: July 17, 2008. While she was 86, she also raised me and it was one of the saddest events of my life. Glad you guys were also able to remember the happy.
