Once Upon a Time in San Francisco...
... there lived an exquisite Tango Princess and her dashing Consort.
And I got to take their pictures... and we all lived Happily Ever After.
***
I never thought that being unemployed would make me even busier than usual, but in amongst filling out forms, looking for jobs, rewriting resumes and preparing for taxes (oy), I am even farther away from "normal" as possible.
I'll have some stories soon, I'm sure. But posting a pretty picture is better than nothing.
Hope your holiday weekend was wonderful...

I wish you well and I wish you happiness. Most of all, I wish you a job.
This is stunning! I feel the love. : )
That is one gorgeous picture! Best of luck with the job search. I've been sending positive vibes your way. :)
wow....they look fabulously porcelain...a picture of old-time frolic...i dig it...
HOLY CRAP woman - this is freaking gorgeous. uhhh you have to start charging soon - as soon as people see this shot and want to book you.
Wow. It's like a dream...
umm but uhh, more than a pretty picture. that is just absolutely enchanting. en chante? did i spell it right?
Hi TB, how are you?
This really is a gorgeous picture. Of course, it helps to have gorgeous subjects, yes?
It's kind of strange seeing them look so... I guess the word would be serious, so full of gravitas, when really they're so lively and cheerful. But I suppose I shouldn't break the illusion. And not that they don't pull it off beautifully.
So are you going pro with the photography? And if not, why not? I honestly don't see how you couldn't be the next Leibovitz.
Agree with flawsnall, so unreal, so beautiful!
Being busy is good. Happy job hunting.
that is moody and beautiful, wonderful work.
wonderful capture. Love her dress. She's rocking that and keeping him close enough but I love the hard to get aspect of it too.
oh dear me, my fave tango teachers have been captured in a beautiful dream by your magical eye.... i'm off to flickr to swoon over the rest!
And it really is a lovely picture. :-)
Beautiful shot. Love the red head...in blue...on green...against blue...in front of my favorite US city!
Thanks for that!
And good luck with job search!
Kirsten
Julie, your portraits have been absolutely stunning lately (they've always been beautiful) but recently they are really, really beautiful :-)
Wow, your photography skills are growing leaps and bounds. I was out of work (by choice fortunately) for seven months a few years ago, I never understood how I had found time to go to work before. Busy busy. Better than sitting and feeling glum, though, right?
xo
This is a GREAT portrait. Perfect!!!
I am hit with a terrible bout of guilt.
It's been...eh, I'd say an *eon* since I last posted.
Hope everything is going great, TB! May your gorgeous stilettos and shutterbug heart take you far. ;)
A beautiful image of a beautiful couple! I was checking in to see if you had any photos of those (stupid) tea parties at City Hall. I'm surprised that so many right-wingers turned out in SF!
