Just So Lovely

The goal is not to change your subjects, but for the subject to change the photographer. ~ Author Unknown

I am so fortunate to have friends that possess such great beauty. Their souls, their eyes, their laughter, their intelligence.
The fact that they will let me pose and prod them into what my camera's eye demands, with such good naturedness and patience.
An evening spent backstage amongst the lights, ropes, riggings with beautiful Ms. Red Shoes. So much loveliness for one little camera (and photographer) to take in.

I love the combination of the pearls and the tatoo, the lace and black satin. Beautiful!

Thank you, Relyn. I love the whole effect, too. She is a very beautiful girly girl, isn't she?

;-)

Besides being just gorgeous, she has beautiful eyes.

Hi Christina,

Yes, she has beautiful golden brown eyes, like a fantastic kitty kat. And the LONGEST eyelashes I have ever seen that were not fake!

Hi Ms. Wellspring,

I know! I'm so excited. And so lucky!

When I first glanced at your photos, I thought you were featuring Isabella Rossellini. Stunning model with an alluring presence. Your photos showcase her beautifully.

Oh my...you all are so kind...I'm blushing...

TB has a gift!

Hi tangobay,
When do you think we'll be so fortunate to see except of your soul and intelligence your beautiful face?
Waiting this liveliness to come!

Hi Red Shoes!

You are the guest of honor at our little virtual art gallery soiree! These walls would blank if not for your beauty.

xoxo

Hi karey m,

Would it make you feel better to know that I met Red Shoes and Sunshine Girl because of blogging? Because if that's how things work, that means that I'll get to hang out with you someday, too.

And take your picture! And the girlies!

Just for the record, most of the time I am sitting here in massive boredom, squirming in my chair because I'd rather be elsewhere. Like with you.

Hi phivos,

I think it's much better for me to be behind the camera than in front of it. But thank you for the compliment!

oh yah i was going to say too that she has a confident neckline, even in the posess which bring a sense of vulnerability. i lovet her posture. i also love that the pictures are timeless. an antique feel with touches of edginess.

What can I say? Fantastic photos! I love the 5th one on femme:fotographie. And, miss red shoes, you're going to break some hearts up in Scotland!

paris parfait July 3, 2008 at 1:00 PM

Gorgeous! She is beautiful and so are your photos! You have talent, Tangobaby. (Not only are you a famous reporter now, next time you can take a picture of the recalcitrant Muni drivers and the row of non-moving vehicles and send them live)! xoxox

tangobaby July 3, 2008 at 2:50 PM

Hi mrs. sarah ott,

You described Red Shoes so perfectly. You are painting her picture with words. I love it.

I am sure she must be loving your compliments! I would if that was me...

Hi j,

It was great having something of a story or theme to the pictures, and I'm glad you picked up on that.

Now, what to do for my next beautiful subject? hmmm....why am I thinking of dancing?

xo

Hi Koolricky,

The gents in Scotland have a beautiful treat coming their way. I'm glad I could help advertise!

Hi paris parfait,

Thank you, thank you so much! Wait until I get my little lens on you, too, tee hee.

As for MUNI, there's not enough talent in the world to make that organization attractive to me today! Ugh!

Aww shucks, y'all. I'm blushing. TB and Ms Wellspring actually saw me hide my face behind my hands in a little "squee" moment about all your comments.

:)
